They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and there’s no better way to start your day right than a nutritious breakfast smoothie. We’ve combined seasonal and nutritional ingredients with our Morning Booster blend, to kick-start your day and offer long-term health benefits. 

We’ve included potassium-rich banana for its heart-healthy properties; fibre-rich kiwi; vitamin C packed orange juice (go for freshly squeezed if you can); protein-rich yogurt (we suggest a lactose-free variety such as coconut, almond or soya if you have an intolerance or want to keep the recipe vegan-friendly); antioxidant rich honey and, of course, a nutrient-packed daily dose of DocHQ Morning Booster.

Morning Booster contains anti-inflammatory turmeric and gut-friendly ginger, which gives this smoothie deliciously warm notes of spice. You can find out more about the health benefits of the blend here. We’ve kept the other ingredients simple to let the spice flavour sing through! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 2 kiwis, diced
  • 200ml orange juice
  • 150g yogurt of your choice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 capsule contents of DocHQ Morning Booster

Method:

Simply combine all of the ingredients except Morning Booster in a blender or smoothie maker, and blitz for a minute or two until smooth. Taste and add a little more honey if you prefer a sweeter flavour. Once you’re happy with the taste, pop open a capsule of Morning Booster and empty the contents into the blender. Blitz again for 20-30 seconds and then pour into a glass and enjoy!
